i'm from the uk and will be travelling to orlando this year and i was just wondering how much these things would cost to buy from walmart?
minute maid lemonade light (bottle or carton) do they sell it in bulk?
bottles of water
snacks (chips, candy, fruit etc)
also, how much money do you think i will need to take if i want to buy food and drink everyday, a few souvenirs and clothes etc?
thankyou.
Answer
minute maid drinks come in a box of 10 for $2.17 (they use to be $1.97) .. it is not sold in bulk but if you have access to a BJs or Sams Club, you can purchase them there in bulk ... honestly, the Walmart is cheap enough since you will go there anyway ...
Water bottles... for 16.9 oz bottles, 24 bottles to the case, you can pay anywhere from $3.48 to $3.99. It just depends on what brand you want.. there is store brand, Zephyrihills, Deer Park, Nestle Pure Life and more...
Snacks... range in price... candy, same thing .. from bags of items for $1.00 and up .. there are just too many to choose from... fruit, reasonable...
You can buy Disney souvenirs from the Walmart on Lake Buena Vista, just outside of Disney on the 535 Road but IDK if you are going to SeaWorld or Universal... I would say average about $1,000 (US) but that depends on your family size ... or your budget.. some people can come and spend more, some can spend less.... Either way, your money is worth more here for you, good thing for you... Buy at Walmart.. your breakfast and lunch stuff/snacks to take to the park and eat a nice hot dinner out.. think about $65 for a family dinner for 4 -5 ... kids meals are about $4.99 - 6.99 per person, adults... well, wide range for dinner but would average it at $14.99 for adult nice dinner, fast food is obviously cheaper...

(At some places in Rome, it is possible to order a half portion of pasta (but not for half price) )
*** Always visit the bathrooms in the local restaurants before you leave. They are usually very clean and are free of charge. I always make this a point on my trips to use them.
