I am in a school club and we need to raise a whole lot of money to donate it to charity by the end of the year. We need an amazing fundraiser to involve the whole community to participate in so that we can raise, again, a whole lot of money. Now, this fundraiser has to be really really really simple. It cant be like... organize a lot of stuff, or involve a lot of volunteers. Some of our ideas include... a movie being shown in a lawn or a teacher talent show. I really need some help!!!! Please imput SOME ideas!!! THANKS SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

i really like the teacher talent show idea! Fundraisers are my thing!

here are some of my ideas:

-bake sale

-you could make spirit wear for your school, and buy it wholesale, so its really cheap, and then sell them for twice as much as you paid for them

-you could get the teachers to have a basketball or football game, and charge admission: that would be a really big hit....5 bucks a person...if you had just 200 people come you guys would have 1000 dollars.

-you could get a local restaraunt to sponsor your school... you just have to fill out a form and get a few signatures

-you could have a game day, and charge admission and have the different grades face off against each other

-you could do manicures and pedicures and charge people like 6 bucks each... you would have to have like 10 stands to get a lot done

-get little Halloween themed bags and put a few pieces of candy in it, and put little tags on them that say who its to and who its from, and let kids "order" them for their friends, and then you could deliver them during school

-you could do a raffle and have kids buy tickets (you could sell them at lunch), and they could win like a gift card, or an ipod nano... if you do that only charge a dollar for each raffle tickets

I need to buy wholesale quantities of back to school items.....backpacks, lunch bags, water bottles, school supplies etc for my sister in a foreign country for her new store. I have checked online and found lots of chinese companies but i'm quite sceptical about them.
Does anyone (maybe from retail experience) know where i can buy such items from?

I'm considering making a product like ready made lunches that are better than microwaved frozen food. How do I get it sold in the supermarket and is this a good business to get into or are the profits really bad

check with your local business and local markets - they may start selling it for you - cutting the middleman - but check out the background on Paula Deen from the foodnetwork. She started out with "The Bag Lady" lunches her kids sold door to door. You might get some pointers.

One thing to help with profits is to make sure you are buying wholesale and not full retail for any ingredients you buy. Also make sure to check out business licenses in your area, as well as the laws and regulations. Better do your homework before you buy all this and find out you can use any of it!
