Question for formula feeding mothers: When taking your baby somewhere, how do you go about preparing formula?

Q. Do you prepare it in advance and hopefully your child consumes it in one hour, keep it in a lunch box with an ice pack, or bring a bottle with water and bring the powder in a separate bag? I actually have a legit reason to bottle feed so no opinions please. If I could, I would take the easy route and go back to breastfeeding.

had a formula stacker container (kind of like this one but mine had more stacks http://www.ecochild.com.au/eco-products/eating-and-drinking/lunch-boxes-and-food-containers/ecosystem-formula-stacker) and carried the water in a thermos, and had a bottle warmer as well for in case it was too cold by the time it was needed, and took one bottle that was made up and kept in an insulated bottle carrier because usually one would be needed pretty quickly. For the formula stackers you just measure out how much you use to make up a bottle and take it with you and pour it in when you're making it. If the bottle warmer couldn't be used, I asked for a cup with some boiling/hot water in it and used that to heat up the bottle after it was made up.
