What looks more professional - A (womens) satchel or tote bag?

Im debating whether I should go for

Its for everyday wear. I prefer to dress professional (business casual like slacks, ballet flats, button down shirt and blazer. Im 24 yrs old student but I jyst prefer to dress this way to campus and everyday wear) and wonder which one would be most formal?

At my school, we have to follow a business casual dress code! I think they both look nice, but I would choose the black tote. You could fit more things, such as a scarf, flats, lunch, books, pens, tablet, etc.--all while looking polished, stylish, and professional. I bring a tote bag and a lot of girls in my class do, too. (The popular bag of choice has been the Longchamp tote, but I don't really see anything special about it!) Either bag will look professional.

Help with school bags next for going into 3rd year at school!!!!!!!?
