What movie has a guy giving his girlfriend yellow play dough with a cute story about it?

I know the movie is fairly recent. I seem to remember that the guy gave his potential love interest the play dough in a brown lunch bag. I believe that he told the woman that the play dough could be shaped into anything she wanted. Before that, there was a huge story about the inventor of play dough using it, I think, on crops. I seem to remember that the movie was a "chick flick." Please help. Thanks.

How can I "brown bag" a lunch in a professional office?

~ Jamie ~

To save money, I'd like to pack a lunch and bring snacks with me to my job. Years ago, I would just throw food into a plastic grocery bag. I have a higher level position now, and don't want to bring anything tacky. The brown paper "lunch" bags are not large enough. How does everyone else bring their lunches? Is there a streamlined, insulated bag that is plain and professional looking?

Answer
I've seen a lot of women put lunch, drinks, snacks, etc in gift bags and take it to work.

How to explain what a douche bag is?

OK, at lunch in school, my friend called some dude a douchebag. Our very clean minded, very new to dirty slang friend asked her, with her head cocked like a cat, "What's that?" My friend started freaking out, not knowing how to explain this. Long story short, she just told our guy friend to explain, but he didn't know either. I have a sore throat, so i couldn't explain XD someone explain for my friend?

Answer
A douche is something that people DO actually use. They're just not a common thing anymore.

A douche is a bottle with a small nozzle on the end - the nozzle is inserted into the vagina, the bottle is squeezed and the liquid goes into the vagina to help clean it. Not a whole lot of women use them, if you're hygienic they aren't too necessary.

Very smart of your friend to ask. People love throwing around insults while having no idea what they actually mean.

What does it take to open your own small business?

dollye k

I want to open a resale shop specifically geared towards pregnant women and young children. I would sell gently used maternity clothes, baby clothes, and baby gear. Are there any tips, books, or websites that are especially helpful?

Answer
I'd suggest talking to other small businesses in the area you are thinking of locating. You can probably find some easily who would be willing to take a lunch with you. Ask them about the process they went through to get ready for business, what foot traffic in the area is like, what their biggest surprises were their first few years. Pick their brains a little you never know what good info you can get from people that are in your impact area, plus this allows you to start networking , meaning if they know you they may send business your way.

Look at your expenses and make sure you have everything covered. What is your estimated income for the store? What will you be able to do if you're running under plan? How can you ensure a steady supply of product? Look at the store next time you go grocery shopping and ask yourself how they get things stocked, inventoried, rang, bagged etc and have answers for how that will look in your store.

How much do you think is appropriate to spend on Christmas presents amongst women friends?

Dani B

We have a group of 6 friends...all women & we are planning to do a Christmas gift exchange.
What do you think is the appropriate amount to spend?
I think that $50 is more than sufficient with the current economy & all.
Some people want to spend $100 - but I think this is too much as one of our group has young children & another has been laid off.
Am I being cheap????

Answer
I think $10 is fine. That's enough for a humorous cat book or some spring bulbs or packages of seeds or a small plant or clever bookmarks or cloth grocery bags (or the $1 ones from Trader Joe's that I gave one year) or some kind of ornament, like the one I got made in a Third World country with shiny magazine pages folded up & glued to an ornament or a necklace (like the $1 one I bought) or cat statue ($5) from flea market or thrift shop...You get the idea...something fun that says you care, but also something that's well, cheap. It's truly the thought that counts. Sometimes it really would be easier to spend more, but what for?

Here's another idea: Get a mug from a thrift store--I like the clear glass ones--& fill it with homemade cookies & tie it with a pretty ribbon. Or bake mini-loaves of bread or whatever, just enough for a single gal to slice & enjoy for a couple of days during the holidays.

Or how about a bottle of sparkling juice or flavored water in one of those bottle-sized gift bags, just in time for the New Year. Lots of us, as we get older, are happy if it's not wine or something with alcohol. It may be more welcome as a party gift if it's not, especially with all the crack-downs on drunken driving.

Again, what's that $50-$100 idea? We just never did that. Better to use it on family or 5 toys for needy kids or other charity donation or food for ourselves or just about anything. As you say, it's ridiculous to spend so much in this economy, & you certainly don't want people to feel indebted to spend this much just to maintain the friendship. Better to spend $20 per person & enjoy a special lunch together or pool your money to buy treats for coffee & brunch at someone's house.

Now that I think about it, why not forget the whole gift thing & host a brunch. Find out what a local women's shelter could use: new socks, kids' books, just little gifts, or whatever, & have each person bring that item instead of having an expensive gift exchange. Be the leader & get several friends to agree on that idea, & then you're on to it.

Alternatively, you could host a cookie exchange or a paperback book exchange, or whatever. Let your interests be your guide.

Enjoy!

Can i wash my north face book bag in the washing machine?

lunch bags for women on lunchbag Fashionable and Stylish Lunch Totes

I have had The north face women's borealis book bag for a while now. Today i went to school, put a banana in there to eat for lunch, my book bag fell off my desk and the banana got squished. i obviously need to clean but not sure how. any suggestions?

Answer
North Face is a brand connected with good craftsmanship: If the seams are tight, you should be able to turn it inside out and wash it. Maybe balance the load with a couple pairs of jeans or other heavy clothing of the same color, cold water or warm. Hot might cause bleed of the dye. A gentle soap (not a harsh detergent) will probably be fine. I think it would probably need a couple days to dry by hanging. A dryer would affect the shape by shrinking with heat. If you need it in a hurry, put it in a dryer on no or super low heat. Otherwise hanging is best, outdoors will dry faster than indoors.

If you think the bag might be too rough for washing with other clothes, you can always tie it inside a pillowcase. It will still wash fine that way.
